CCTV
Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV):
Uses any number of cameras to record, transmit and display a video signal to a desired location, on a limited set of monitors. CCTV systems may operate continuously or only as required to monitor a particular event or time period. The more advanced forms of CCTV provide recording for any time period preferred, whether weeks, months or even years. A variety of quality and performance options are available, including advanced extra features. The newest technology today, network IP-based CCTV systems come equipped with megapixel sensors, and record directly to network storage devices, displaying over a stand-alone operation, with the flexibility to grow over time.
